Katharina (Tini) Thomsen was born in Hamburg and studied jazz music in Hamburg and Amsterdam. She played with a lot of excellent musicians and bands such as Yamaha Bigband (Peter Herbhozheimer), Metropole Orkestra (Vince Mendoza), BuJazzO, Brussels Jazz Orchestra, Alain Clarke, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Pepe Lienhard and many others.
